Comments
This scale
measures several components of a Christian worldview. Some of the items are
similar to those in the Worldview Beliefs measure (McLaughlin, 2022). A
detailed analysis of the CSVI, which compares group responses may be found in
Sutton (2021).
The measure
had adequate internal consistency and is supported by measures of core
Christian beliefs (Christian Beliefs Index) and a fundamentalist view of the
Bible (Intratextual Fundamentalism Scale-short form).
More research is needed with larger samples and additional components of worldviews.
